Description
OfficeTeam is looking to fill a Human Resources Assistant position in the Hi Tech Engineering industry. The Human Resources Assistant will be in charge of a variety of personnel related administrative tasks and will provide clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, and procedures. This short-term temporary-to-full-time opportunity is with a company in the Hi Tech Engineering industry and is based in the Los Angeles, California area.

How you will make an impact

- Use the internet to research potential customers

- Manage employee database archives

- Assist with planning new employee orientation meetings

- Manage a number of administrative duties

Requirements
- At least 3+ years of HR related experience desired

- Skilled with office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)

- Able to maintain an approachable and appropriate attitude when interacting with all levels of personnel in a rapidly changing environment

- Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing

- HR compliance experience desired

- navigating basic office equipment and protocols experience

- Expertise in HR (Human Resources)

- Prior experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

- Able to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and to take initiative on variety of tasks and projects
