Looking to join a company you can retire with? We have a great job for you! Our client, is looking to hire a Benefits Analyst in the Mid-Wilshire area. This is an excellent foot in the door opportunity and for the right candidate would lead to a full time position. As the Benefits Analyst you would report into the Manager of the Benefits Analysis. This role requires excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. You will prepare data modeling for various pension and health plans, prepare reports for the benefits committee, review data etc. The ideal candidate will have a degree in math, business, economics, etc. The hours for this position are 8:30-5 pm. Major responsibilities

- Support diverse projects for other employees

- Handle telephone calls

- Receive and tend to visitors

- Complete word processing, filing, and faxing
Requirements
- At least 1 year of Administrative Assistant experience preferred

- Deep understanding of insurance claims

- Proven knowledge of pensions

- Solid understanding of data modeling

- Microsoft Excel experience preferred

- Pension administration experience

- Vendor relations and sourcing experience

- Well-founded grasp of benefits analysis

- Ability to use the internet for research

- Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well

- Ideal candidate must have adept computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems
