Accounts Payable and Administrative Specialist
Are you an Accounts Payable and Administrative Specialist ready to play a vital role with a long-standing Lawrence area company? This position is multi-faceted combining your exceptional accounts payable and administrative skills including matching and creating invoices, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports and assisting with trade show materials.
Your positive daily impact includes:
• Being a positive first impression to clients via phone and in person.
• Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers and being willing to go the extra mile to make their experience memorable.
• Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Answering a busy multi-line phone system, directing calls appropriately and taking messages when needed.
• Entering large volumes of accounting data into their in-house computer system.
• Able to provide general office and administrative support to staff as needed.
• Assist with the creation and preparation of successful trade show materials and events.
What it takes to succeed in this role:
• 2 or more years of accounts payable and administrative experience.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or related area is highly desired!
• A desire to go above and beyond for each customer to provide an exceptional experience each time they interact with the organization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to handle several tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail is critical to success in this role!
• Proven experience with Word, Excel, Outlook and QuickBooks at an intermediate level are mandatory.
