Robert Half Technology is looking for a Help Desk Tier 2 Technician

Top 3
1. Windows 7-10/Active Directory/O365
2. Citrix App environment big plus
3. A+ Certification or higher

Notes:
? Will have to travel (on company dime) to Dallas twice a year for training and companywide conferences.
? Company will look at paying for any certifications that are on a predetermined list and loves investing in their employees training.
? Will have to be on their Jacksonville clients sight 1-2 times a week. Client site is within 20 miles from office and is a call center.
Requirements
Qualifications:
? Associates Degree or higher in Computer Science, Internet Technology or related fields and/or 4 years applicable work experience in an IT helpdesk role
? Required Knowledge:?Windows 7-10, Windows Server 2003-2016, SQL, IP, DHCP, DNS, Routers, Switches, WIFI, VPN, Office 365, Azure, N-Central RMM
? Preferred Knowledge: Cisco Meraki, Barracuda Appliances and Cloud Solutions, Exchange Server, Google Apps, AWS
? Required Certifications: CompTIA A+, MCP
? Certifications in Microsoft platforms such as Azure, MSCP, VSP, or other certifications or equivalent work experience are a plus
? Detail Oriented Top-notch organizational skills
? Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening and questioning skills
? Strong documentation skills
? Experience working in an ITIL-driven environment and working knowledge of ITIL principles and processes
? Demonstrated hands on experience installing administering Windows, Linux, and VMware or Hyper-V systems
? Understanding of networking fundamentals (wired wireless)
? Written and oral communication in the Spanish language is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
? Assist in software releases and roll-outs according to Change Management best practices
? Assist in providing Level II Support when request volumes are high
? Act as an escalation point for advanced or difficult help requests
? Build rapport with service desk customers
? Escalate problems (when required) to the Service Desk Manager
? Record, track, and document the Service Desk problem-solving process for every ticket, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, actions taken, through to final resolution
? Apply diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting
? Access software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and FAQ resources on the Internet/Intranet to aid in problem resolution
? Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications
? Install anti-virus software and ensure virus definitions are up-to-date
? Perform preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning of servers, patch management, and system updates.
? Test fixes to ensure problem has been adequately resolved
? Perform post-resolution follow ups with Level I Technicians as required
? Develop help sheets and FAQ lists for end users
? Reinforce SLAs to manage end-user expectations.
