Description
Payroll Manager needed for immediate project with client in Las Colinas.

Payroll Manager will be responsible for overseeing the US domestic and International payrolls for business units, including direct management of the payroll in the Dallas corporate office, which includes senior executives, local employees, remote employees in multiple states, and international employees. Responsible for vendor management and acts as administrator for ADP system. In the Regional Payroll Manager position, you will oversee the process for administration and execution of payroll at 18 plant locations. Local payroll coordinators report directly to their local Finance leaders and receive indirect (matrix) oversight and support from this position. Additional responsibilities for the Regional Payroll Manager position will include oversight of biweekly, multi-state payrolls, developing and maintaining payroll policies, standards, and internal controls; overseeing the payroll activities related to account reconciliation, monthly variance analysis, accrual calculations, and journal entry review. In this role, you can expect to collaborate with multiple HR and Accounting/Finance Departments on a frequent basis. The role will support numerous senior-level executives.

Key Responsibilities:
? Management of the Dallas general, Dallas executive and International payroll, inputs including all tax and payroll requirements.
? Manages the collation and distribution of payroll and benefit data for tax purposes on a quarterly basis, responds questions from tax provider.
? Review, analyze and document current payroll and tax procedures; recommend and implement changes leading to not merely compliance, but best-practice operations and top-notch service to our employees.
? Serve as Payroll Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ad hoc projects, including but not limited to interface files with HRIS and benefits systems, and process improvement initiatives
? Coordinate with the Finance team on the US tax return compliance with external provider, responsible for tracking status of Tax Equalization payments and ensuring relevant payments and settlements, interacting with assignees of all seniority.
? Manage the preparation of US year-end reporting requirements (W2s) and associated breakdowns.
? Management of key processes associated with the international payroll including the completion of applications for US social security coverage (COC), international wire transfers
? Support Mexican tax settlement process for commuters and analysis of frequent travelers to Canada to identify potential risks.
? Will serve as back up to Payroll Specialist function.

Specific functional capabilities, knowledge and experience:
? 5+ years? experience in US payroll management.
? At least 5 years? experience working with outsourced payroll vendors. Experience with the ADP EV5 platform strongly preferred.
? At least 3 years? experience working with file interfaces between payroll and other external vendors (e.g., benefits providers). Experience with SAP Success Factors or similar HRIS preferred.
? Demonstrated ability to analyze, compile and present accounting data in management reporting.
? Demonstrated understanding of applicable employment laws and regulations, including those related to ERISA benefits plans and wage/hour, payroll tax, and wage payment laws.
? Formal Qualifications: Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Payroll or related finance function preferred or 10+ years of payroll management experience in lieu of degree
