Description
Office Manager needed for service company

Responsibilities Include:
? Keeping our extensive kitchen area stocked with food, snacks beverages and our office space optimized
? Purchasing and managing equipment, supplies, food, and other important things to keep our company running smoothly
? Onboarding new employees, including equipment set up and scheduling onboarding events
? Planning and organizing team meals, monthly team events, information sessions, and other activities
? Assisting our Controller with expenses and other bookkeeping / accounting tasks, along with screening and distributing incoming mail
? Manage contractors/building management/facilities, mail delivery services and other personnel that provide services to the company
? Help schedule and plan travel for various members of our team
? Be the first point of contact for visitors
? Assist our team with planning internal and external company events with customers and partners
? Oversee the day-to-day operation of our phones, IT and google services
? Proactively advising and suggesting ways to improve efficiency and reduce the time/money spent on everyday tasks
? Help to maintain and grow our culture in our office, with our people, and through our programs
? Depending on knowledge and experience, assist our Controller with HR tasks as they arise

Required Skills
? Excellent listening, oral and writing abilities
? Quick to pick up new skills and understand new software applications
? If we asked your friends and family if you are organized, their response should be a loud YES
? Ability to proactively engage with our team to understand our culture and types of activities, food, etc that will best fit us
? Ability to plan and organize simple to complex events
? Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team environment where some days you?re at your desk and some days you?re crawling around on the floor, troubleshooting cables
? Strong time management and prioritization skills. You?re used to multi-tasking and being frequently interrupted
? Comfortable using a variety of word processing and spreadsheet software applications, scheduling applications, and applications such as Trello and Slack

Bonus Skills Experience:
? Experience planning events
? Experience working with teams of 50-100 people, and being the glue that holds them together
? Experience with HR especially in California and coordinating the onboarding of new employees
? Experience of office setup and relocation
? Excessively positive can-do attitude
? Experience of making judgement calls and saying ?no? occasionally
? Anything else you?re awesome at (we?d love to know)!
? Appreciation for a dog friendly environment


TOP REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of office management experience {ideally have some experience working in a start-up environment}
- tech-savvy, bright, flexible, detail oriented, proficient with all GOOGLE SUITE
- MAC PC COMPUTERS PROFICIENCY
- has a BACKBONE... can work in a non-structured start-up environment // Yvonne Marisela describe the environment as often "organized chaos"
- this is an OM role basically supporting 5 different departments
- ability to help plan events for company
