Full-Time Accounting & Finance

Candidates who can plan and direct all accounting operational functions, handle the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, evaluate accounting and internal control systems, and lead departmental staff, will be preferred for this position. What you get to do every single day

- Analyze deliverables of self and team to confirm they meet client expectations

- Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor them monthly

- Collaborate with executive team and partners to support efficient and effective firm-wide operation

- Ensure timely cash collection by driving the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques

- Comfortable in taking on tasks beyond formal job responsibilities

- Assess, execute and improve policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies

- Responsible for month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations & G/L analysis

- Support Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, with research, planning, and implementation, as required

- Each month, present executive committee and partners with financial reports

- Manage finance department operations, including accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll

- Prepare cash-flow reports, projecting cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, daily cash management
- Previous experience in public accounting is highly valued

- Self-starter and strong ethical standards

- Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines

- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field

- CPA or MBA preferred

- Progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller preferred

- Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations

- Exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills

- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing

- Detailed and have the ability work independently

- Excellent technology, analytics and management experience required

- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment

- Monthly Statements experience highly preferred

- Adeptness in Monthly Financial Statements

- General familiarity with Monthly Quarterly

- Foundational knowledge in Monthly Financial Reporting

- Good understanding of auditing

- Background working with Monthly Variance

- Monthly Financial Reports experience highly desired

- Earlier work involving Perform Month-end

- Previous experience working with financial auditing

- Practical knowledge of Monthly Reconciliation

- Demonstrated knowledge of Monthly Journal Entries

- Monthly Close experience preferred

- Deep understanding of Monthly Consolidation

- Solid understanding of Monthly Bank Reconciliation
