Description
OfficeTeam is seeking candidates for a Logistics Coordinator role with a client in the Manufacturing industry. As the Logistics Clerk, you will be working with clients coordinating shipments. You should also be able to perform a heavy amount of data entry and customer service. You should also be able to take responsibility for the processing of customer orders, including coordination with vendors and arranging shipments as the Logistics Clerk. Submit an application today! Major responsibilities

- Authenticate freight bills and process bills of lading

- Follow-up with carriers, as necessary

- Abide by guidelines for approving carriers

- Transmit and synchronize with inventory and sales management; warehouse; logistics for service changes

- Perform various administrative duties

- Watch, trace, and help dispatch progress of orders on time and to meet delivery requirements

Requirements
- 2+ years' experience with shipping/logistics

- Manufacturing experience required!

- Must have SAP knowledge

- Means to operate basic office equipment, complete general office work and route incoming materials

- Foundational knowledge in pricing

- Strong familiarity with order entry

- Command of Microsoft Excel

- This job requires experience in purchasing, inventory control, transportation and warehousing functions

- Customer service oriented communication skills

- Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required
