Description
Special Project for a Senior Financial Analyst. As a result of significant growth greater Hartford insurance client has asked Management Resources to supply a consultant for a several month engagement. The focus is to manage the MS database with regard to contact administration including billing, payments and data validation. In addition manage accruals, accounting and prepare significant reconciliations as the volume is significant. The role is vital to the client as it will impact revenue and the balance sheet. CPA preferred, MS Access experience is necessary. Potential for consulting to full time employment.
Requirements
- Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint

- Track-record in process reengineering and optimization

- Finance or Business BA/BS degree or one in a related field required

- 7+ years experience in operations finance necessary

- Ability to apply critical thinking and critical decision making skills with management

- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company

- CPA preferred

- Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions

- Able to work across teams and gain consensus of a group of individuals

- Possess strong Microsoft Excel skills

- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Access

- Accounts Payable (AP) experience

- Accounts Receivable (AR) experience preferred

- Proficiency in Bank Account Reconciliation

- Balance Sheet Reconciliation experience preferred
