Your responsibilities in this role

- Facilitating the assistance of internal and external audits, as expected

- Principally responsible for counting, classifying, and maintaining a vast inventory of items

- Meticulously implement day-to-day practices in a prompt fashion; adhere to Company policies

- Providing customer service to internal business partners

- Carry out special projects upon request

- Verify material received to determine irregularities, inspect articles and reject defective ones

- Develop close working relationship with the Purchasing Manager and Inventory Analyst

- Take on data entry tasks, prepare inventory records and reports, and deal with conflicting documentation information
- Inventory experience

- Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required

- Accustomed to handling logistics records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued

- Spreadsheet and database capabilities

- Background in inventory preferred

- Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing

- Familiarity with Inventory Management Software preferred

- Preferably have basic experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP)

- AA or BS/BA in Accounting preferred
