Human Resource Generalist
A rapidly growing manufacturing company in Wyoming is seeking an HR Generalist. Main focus would be extensive FMLA, safety/worker’s comp/injury reporting, and HR “legal” issues. This HR Generalist will also be recruiting and creating the systems needed (online job site, applicant database, social media for recruiting, employee intranet etc.) For immediate consideration call Robert Half at 616-454-9444!
Daily Responsibilities
Coordinate employee orientation, payroll, benefits and credentials for new hires
Plan and process open enrollment for employee group term life insurance, health insurance, long term disability, retirement plan, parking and SCA health and welfare programs
Manage paid time off (sick leave and vacation)
Process workers compensation and temporary disability insurance claims, leave requests and requests for reasonable accommodations
Notify employees of benefit compliance, leave requirements, maintenance of records and compliance requirements
Processes employee’s termination or resignation, including exit packet, exit survey, vacation payout, COBRA and notification of termination to 401k administrators
Prepare personnel action forms and employee notification for salary survey increases and merit increases based on employee performance annual evaluations
Ensure accurate reporting of expenditures, activities and statistical data for benefits, compensation and compliance
Co-supervise HR Administrative Assistants relating to data entry into ADP system and employee records management system
Manufacturing experience is required
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
Creatively sourcing passive and active candidates
