Our Grand Rapids based company is seeking a Business Systems Analyst. This is a six-to-eight-month engagement, and you will work closely with the client’s Chief Information Officer. For more detailed information please call Adam Minor at 616-774-3286 or email [email protected]
• Assist the accounting team with problem solving, operational improvements, and daily tasks
• Support the day-to-day operations of GP applications and 3rd party modules
• Respond to IT help requests and work actively with users to resolve GP issues with excellent client focus and service
• Analyze and document business requirements. Systems may include payment processing system used by IAS clients and internal systems used to support IAS core business operations
• Implement associated software developments and integrations including reporting development while working closely with project and development teams
• Provide support to finance team related to database integration, report development, and accounting software
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
• Participate on team upgrading GP2010 to GP2016. Ability to learn other ERP packages for future conversion and consolidation opportunities
The successful Business Systems Analyst will have 3 or more years of experience- preferably with some public experience, SAP software is a must and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel skills. Treasury/tax accounting experience is preferred. This role requires great organizational and multi-tasking skills, combined with excellent communication skills.
