Description
This is a temporary on-call position that is seeking an individual that is flexible with their schedule.
Responsibilities include: 1. Pick up mail from a local post office and deliver to the office. 2. Receive all outgoing mail (includes mail pick-up at various locations throughout the office), including certified and priority mail. 3. Handle all outgoing and incoming UPS, Federal Express, and other related incoming deliveries. 4. Handle all Short Pump deliveries and pickups, including banking. 5. Distribute all mail and overnight deliveries to employees. 6. Order all core office supplies online, along with supplies for postage meter and UPS, Federal Express. Stock supplies upon arrival. Stock each copy station with paper supplies daily. 7. Maintain printed supplies in the storage area in an orderly manner and restock as needed. Remove empty cartons and keep the area neat and in order.8. Add postage to meter and call for service as required. Clean and maintain the metering machine as needed. 9. Run monthly postage reports for Corporate Accounting Department for Director. 10. Keep the mailroom/supply room in order. 11.Monitor breakroom and second-floor coffee station daily and stock with supplies as needed. 12.Trouble-shoot satellite TV as needed.13. Manage file storage. Assign box numbers, assist with retrievals, oversees the annual destruction of file boxes. 14. Maintain a research storage cage for the marketing department. 15. Assist Marketing/Research with loading and unloading of trade show materials as needed. 16.Regular shredding of direct bank deposits as assigned by accounts receivable manager. 17. Assist with maintenance of office copy machines and call service as needed.
Requirements
- Flexible and focused

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Comfortable handling office equipment

- Accomplished in mail processing at an organizational level

- Mail processing experience desired

- Expertise in mail machine

- Mailrooms experience

- Microsoft Excel experience

- At ease to accomplish general clerical operations tasks that are routine and/or repetitive in nature

- Vow to meet business deadlines

- 1+ years of prior experience working in a high-volume mailroom setting

- Skilled at time management
