1. The Network Security Engineer will be doing Research, analyze, recommend, document, and implement new products, technologies, applications, and /or services as needed to ensure the integrity of the corporate IT environment with an emphasis on network security-related solutions
2. Implement corporate standard security products globally, as needed
3. Aid in troubleshooting issues with supported technologies as they arise
4. Act as tier 3 architecture/engineering support for security-related issues that come up and are escalated to information security for resolution
5. Serve as subject matter expert on matters of Enterprise IT Security, including network security technology focus
6. Support broader infrastructure teams as needed, often as a project participant for solutions sponsored by other teams
7. Perform daily monitoring and management of the backup system; monitor backup jobs, execute restore jobs, troubleshoot failed jobs, and initiate corrective action.
8. Create security project documentation
9. Perform other duties as assigned or requested

7 years overall IT experience including at least 5 years working with network security architecture and engineering
CISSP certified, CCNP Security, CCIE Security or related certifications
Knowledge of several of the following: Firewalls, VPNs, IPS/IDS systems, NAC, Platform Security (Windows, Unix, Linux), Security Compliance Tools, Vulnerability Management Tools
Knowledge of security software products, techniques, processes and vendors.
Knowledge of current IT security concerns and changes in technology as they relate to the corporate IT environment
