Description
Main responsibilities
Leading and guiding the Operations team USA
Responsible for Recoveries (insured clients) & Collections (uninsured clients). You will have overall responsibility for managing a portfolio of debts, implementing the agreed processes and systems to achieve desired goals and results
Effective management through people and through use of available data in order to maximise collected amounts and ensure service expectations are met.
To maintain optimum resource capacity, including flexible resource pool in order to effectively manage workload. You will have the ability to recognise whether there is a need to adjust capacity, focus or activities in order to meet the requirements of the business and optimise results through effective portfolio management.
Encourage an environment of continuous improvement and excellence through the proactive introduction of new tools and processes and ways of working within the team. You will innovate and bring ideas, applying creative thinking in order to drive improvements and implement solutions.
Responsible for effective management of the LDC network, ensuring efficiency and cost effectiveness
Develop and maintain excellent communications both verbal and written with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that communication is clear, transparent and timely.
Provide pro-active and appropriate updates on Case / Customer / Portfolio level, ensuring cooperation with key internal stakeholders (such as Claims team, Account Managers)
Regional Operations Coordination
Provide leadership and guidance for all Operations teams within the region to drive service delivery and act as the key point of contact within the Region for Operations related topics.
Ensuring that service delivery processes are implemented and respected, including monitoring of performance, assessment against key performance targets (collected amounts, case handling) and identifying and implementing improvements via the Regional Operational network and/or Regional Country Managers

Requirements
Job requirements
Previous experience working in the financial services industry, ideally in an international environment and within an operational function where you demonstrate sound judgement and ability to assess cost effectiveness of your actions. In addition, you should have a good understanding of Debt Collections and Legal services to apply your operational experience.
Proven ability to implement new processes and manage changes. You will also have thorough knowledge of debt collection techniques
Excellent leadership and management skills and will have a proven ability to inspire, coach and motivate others
Strong negotiation skills, using experience and knowledge to influence and implement key decisions within an international environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
Customer orientated focus, and highly effective in optimizing processes. Project management skills or experience is beneficial
Enthusiastic, creative contributor, you will be pro-active in your approach and able to work under pressure, prioritize and organize your workload, multi-tasking as appropriate.
Strong IT skills in MS office packages, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. You will have experience working with multiple systems
Willingness to travel Internationally
