Description
You might be the highly-skilled and motivated Office Assistant OfficeTeam is looking for, if you're interested in providing support with various administrative duties. Are you a creative self-starter who loves handling multiple projects at once with a positive outlook? Then this is the Office Assistant role for you. The Office Assistant is a short-term temporary and ongoing opportunity and is located in the downtown Deerfield Beach, FL area. The client operates on a schedule of Monday - Friday 8:00 - 5:00pm. Major responsibilities

- Manage office facility

- File, copy and faxing for various departments

- Own the accurate submission of data

- Route calls to the appropriate parties

- Manage all mail distribution for large office

- Schedule calendar updates and meetings

- Order and restock office supplies

- Conference room set up and break down

- Perform clerical tasks such as scanning, copying, faxing, scanning

- Organizing and maintaining files and records
Requirements
- Pass all candidates required to undergo all candidates required to undergo all candidates required to undergo background check

- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

- Ability to stand and float around the office for mail retrieving and delivery responsibilities

- Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with individuals of all backgrounds

- Accomplishes tasks independently

- 1+ years of experience

- Proven knowledge of customer service

- Skills in Microsoft Excel

- Deep understanding of conference call coordination

- Prior assistant experience desired

- General familiarity with documentation

- Earlier work involving filing

- Wide ranging experience with faxing

- Conference room setup cleanup experience preferred

- Solid understanding of ordering office supplies and equipment

- Experience with Microsoft Outlook

- Good understanding of mail processing

- Prior experience with Microsoft Word

- Previous experience working with mailrooms

- Calendar managements and scheduling appointments experience required

- Quality experience with email

- Experience with copying

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft PowerPoint

- Practical knowledge of editing

- Solid understanding of scanning

- Well-founded grasp of data entry

- Expertise in navigating basic office equipment and protocols

- Comprehension of Microsoft Office

- Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets highly desired

- Implement and improve changes in procedures immediately

- Eagerness to take on anything from small internal administrative tasks to high profile requests
