Our client, an exceptional, family owned brand headquartered in Wayne County is looking to hire a skilled Payroll Manager to join their team. If hired for this Payroll Manager position, you will supervise a team of 5-8 employees and be responsible for: managing all US payroll processes as well as state and federal compliance. Additional responsibilities for the Payroll Manager position will include oversight of biweekly, multi-state payroll, developing and maintaining internal controls, oversee the payroll activities related to account reconciliation, monthly variance analysis, accrual calculations, and journal entry review. In this role, you can expect to collaborate with HR and Accounting/Finance Departments on a frequent basis. Requirements
Our client is one of Michigan's oldest and well respected organizations operating throughout the US. For consideration candidates will need 7 plus years of payroll experience, and 3 or more years in a Payroll Manager position. As a candidate your background should include a strong understanding of all aspects of payroll from an in-house perspective, including accounting related activities. Our client stresses teamwork, collaboration, and an excellent work life. This client is requiring candidates have their bachelors degree with a strong preference for a candidate with their CPP. Again, candidates that require relocation will be considered.
