Description
Mid-level Project Manager needed for immediate opportunity on a Contract Basis.

This is a 12+ month contract position.

Mid-level Project Manager, under general direction, is responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of large, complex, and / or enterprise project(s). He/she provides a single point of contact and liaison for those projects with other executives and business leaders. This person directs projects from original concept through final implementation; defines project scope and objectives; and oversees the development of detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. This position frequently reports to a Program Management Office, an Information Technology Executive, and/or a Functional Area Executive.

? Is responsible for project scope definition, documenting the Project Business Case, obtaining a strategic alignment with business sponsors, and obtaining project prioritization and resource alignments.
? Directs the documentation of overall project plan. Ensures that project planning documentation encompasses key deliverables, milestone checkpoints, critical path that cover the design, development, testing, and implementation, deployment, and maintenance stages of the Project?s Life Cycle.
? Directs project meetings and is responsible for project, implementation, tracking, and analysis.
? Ensures adherence to Company?s and industry standards regarding project management methodology and best practices.
? Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
? Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team(s).
? Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
? Directs and coordinates with the business stakeholders the delivery of functional specifications that define the projects business requirements.
? Directs the project team in the implementation of the project plan, adhering to the project deliverables as outlined in the business requirements documentation.
? Ensures that all project risk and issues are documented and communicated to all project team members and business stakeholders.
? Is responsible for facilitating the resolution of any project risk and or issue that can or will impact final project deliverables.
? Monitors stakeholders' satisfaction to ensure that the project meets expectations.
? Is responsible for the communication of the project status to all stakeholders and Governance Steering Committee(s).
? Consults and provides recommendations to users, staff, and management on project design issues
? Works closely with other business and information technology executives to ensure a cohesive, comprehensive, and coordinated effort amongst all projects.

Job Requirements:
? Bachelor?s degree or a minimum of 8 years project management experience.
? Project Management Certification required.
? Knowledge of and experience with Sarbanes-Oxley standards, regulations and compliance.
? Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Daptiv and other project management tools/systems
? Change management experience
