Description
Robert Half Finance and Accounting has partnered with a growing company in Dallas to identify a Human Resources Generalist. The Human Resources Generalist should have 5 + years? experience in Human Resources and Benefits Administration. The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for hiring, retention, termination, personnel records, legal compliance, compensation, benefits, staffing strategies, and payroll administration for 400 + employees. The position will also be responsible for the following

- Responsible for new hire orientations
- Perform benefits administration, including open enrollments, reporting, compliance, claims processes and communicating benefits information to employees (Medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k, flexible spending, commuter, FMLA, Workers Compensation, etc.).
- Processes bi-weekly payroll and employee data changes accurately
- Responds to employee questions and requests.
- Maintains up to date employee, benefits, and payroll files.
- Processes employment verifications, background checks and drug screening
- 401(k) plan administration including processing and funding of contributions
- Assisting with new hire processing and on-boarding.
- Ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations, including FMLA, ADA, CFRA/PDL and USERRA and company leave policies. This person will be the resource for HR on leave issues.
- Handle any employee relations issues.
- Provide HR support to managers as needed.
- An effective resource for company policy, uses good judgment and professionalism to respond to payroll, benefits, and other employee issues - escalates employee issues/grievances to Senior HR Director as necessary.
- Thinks independently to organize activities, responsible for keeping priorities in order and meeting deadlines.
- Accurately process HR entry transactions (profiles) including new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, etc. in a timely manner to ensure payroll accuracy and effective management of employee data.
- Conducts exit interviews and sends to appropriate members of HR Management.
- Maintain employee files and records.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree preferred
5 + years? experience in Human Resources and Benefits Administration
