Description
One of our clients, a commercial investment startup in Culver City, is seeking an administrative assistant on a temporary-to-full time basis. This role will go full-time for the right candidate. Some of the job duties include answering the phone, greeting guests, ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory, planning occasional events, helping with projects and providing any other support duties to the executive assistant. They're looking for someone who is eager to take on projects and take initiative to help in any way they can. They're a fast growing company, and there's a lot of room for growth in this role. Hours are 9AM-5PM and pay is $17/hr on the temporary side. They can pay up to $21/hr once full-time. Benefits once full-time include medical, dental, vision, 2 weeks of PTO and 401K matching up to 4%. Your responsibilities in this role

- Provide help when needed with various projects for other employees

- Support the executive assistant with special projects and tasks

- Answer telephone calls and return voicemails

- Greet and guide visitors

- Perform word processing, filing and faxing
Requirements
- Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well

- At least 1 year of Administrative Assistant experience preferred

- Accomplished computer skills are a must. This includes word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems

- Solid understanding of navigating basic office equipment and protocols

- Skills in internet research
