Description
On behalf of our Coppell client, seeking a payroll manager with implemetation experience for a 3 to 5 month engagement.
Responsibilities include:
Process bi-weekly payroll for 350 FTE
? Leads, trains, and instructs Payroll Specialists and/or third party vendors in the preparation and dissemination of payroll.
? Oversees the documenting of standard operating procedures, ensuring accurate collection of inputs, and monitoring of effective audit controls.
? Reviews treasury processes and third party remittances (tax agencies, regulatory agencies, benefits/insurance vendors, etc.) so that payments and pay checks are delivered on time and accurately.
? Reviews changes in the regulatory environment that impact payroll by researching online resources.
? Partners with providers and participating in industry groups in order to ensure compliance of all payroll processes.
? Through ICP?s (in country providers) for payrolls outside the US, stays abreast of legislative and regulatory issues to ensure ongoing compliance with local laws and regulations.
? Manages all tax year end processes by attending relevant seminars, developing project plans, timelines, and checklists to ensure end of year tax statements are delivered timely and accurately.
? Ensures payroll information is posted correctly to the general ledger and all payroll accounts are periodically reconciled to ensure all funds are properly accounted for.
? Produces reports on volume of activities in the form of a scorecard by embedding the tracking of metrics into payroll processes.
? Ensures process improvement and load balancing opportunities are identified and vendor management is effective.
? Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
5 to 10 years experience in payroll processing and team management
Paylocity experience is a must. Intermediate Excel
Bachelors degree or equivelent experience
Skill in managing people directly and managing vendors.
Knowledge of payroll processes and various systems.
Knowledge of the overall HR business process delivery model.
Ability to prioritize work to ensure customers are satisfied and systems are up and running at all times.
Ability to analyze business and technical processes and determine ways for efficiency.
Ability to manage multiple priorities through internal teams and vendors while maintaining high degrees of attention to detail, accuracy and poise under pressure.
Ability to work with a collaborative work style and effectively handle employee inquires.
Ability to implement new regulations and/or applications quickly and effectively.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and/or sensitive business information.
