Description
Robert Half Finance is looking for a talented SENIOR FINANCE MANAGER to work with a thriving international manufacturing company as an SENIOR FINANCE MANAGER. This is a successful and long-standing organization that will recognize your efforts. You might be a good fit for this position if you can lead daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, variance analysis, strong FP A experience, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, and assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable. You will succeed in this position if you have the ability to create and monitor the company's accounting and finance operations. Located in the Canton, Ohio area, this Senior Finance Manager position encompasses the feeling of family and drives for success together.

What you get to do every day

- Play a key role in system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration.

- Possess a thorough knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

- Assemble various technical accounting policies, procedures, and analyses

- Review and analyze balance sheets and income statement accounts

- Assume some IT and HR roles when necessary

- Correspond with international branches of company in an organized and targeted way

- Ensure close deadlines are met by encouraging and managing the accounting team performance during the closing process

- Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements through data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
Requirements
- Reliable technology and analytical abilities

- CPA/MBA preferred

- Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

- 7+ years of recent relevant financial experience

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

- Practical knowledge of some IT and HR responsibilities

- Well-founded grasp of credit policies procedures

- Proven knowledge of payroll

- Earlier work involving international accounting

- Budgeting experience preferred

- Expertise in taxes

- Wide ranging experience with 401k - RRSP Administration

- Treasury experience

- Quality experience with pension administration

- Solid understanding of accounting policy

- Budget forecasting experience

- General familiarity with billing

- Strong problem solving and analytical skills

- Customer service oriented communication skills that allow for pleasant and beneficial interactions with all customers
