Description
Management Resources, the $1B consulting arm of Robert Half deploying over 4000 consultants world-wide, is searching for experienced Senior Accountants to join our exciting and one-of-a-kind consulting practice for interim consulting engagements with our Boston clients on a permanent basis. This position will offer consistent salary as well as access to the benefits of a Fortune 500 company.

General responsibilities of Senior Accountants are General Ledger maintenance and support, prepare balance sheet account reconciliation (i.e. deferred revenue recognition). The Senior Accountants will also be responsible for compiling quarterly balance sheet review schedules as well as assisting in the preparation of revenue schedules, monthly reporting and ad-hoc analysis.

The Senior Accountants will monitor compliance with GAAP and company policies and procedures along with reviewing, investigating and correcting errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.

The Senior Accountants will also compile and analyze financial information through the preparation of journal entries. They will also be the point finance person for processing Intercompany invoices and account reconciliation, along with ensuring monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements are complete, accurate and conform to GAAP, SOX and company policy.

They will also audit contracts, orders and vouchers and prepare reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement. The Senior Accounts will also determine proper handling of financial transactions and approves transactions within designated limits documenting business transactions.

Along with the above, the Senior Accountants will ensure that month end reporting ties out thru ERP systems, assist with other Accounting department tasks and special projects, and interact with all accounting team members and other corporate employees.

Requirements
The requirements for the role of Senior Accountant are:

-Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

-3-5 years of hands-on accounting experience preferred

-Experience in ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP NetSuite, Intacct or QuickBooks is preferred

-High Proficiency with Excel

-Knowledge of GAAP standards

-Skillful in Windows environment computer applications and Microsoft Office set

-Ability to multitask through effective priority setting

-Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is required

-Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy

-Excellent communication, judgment, and teamwork skills are necessary

-Must be a self-starter that shows ownership and commitment to the job
