Description
Robert Half is currently partnering with an established company in SWFL that is looking for an Payroll Manager. This person will be responsible for managing the payroll team members, the process, and coordinating with senior management. Our client is looking for someone with a proven track record of managing a payroll team, establishing policies/procedures, and hiring/developing new employees.

Responsibilities include
- Maintains payroll information by designing systems; directing the collection, calculation, and entering of data.
- Balances the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies.
- Maintains payroll staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages.
- Pays employees by directing the production and issuance of paychecks or electronic transfers to bank accounts..
- Updates payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job titles, and department/ division transfers.

Requirements
3+ years experience as an Payroll Manager or Supervisor.??
5+ years of payroll experience.??
Proficient with MS Office applications, advanced Excel preferable.??
Advanced knowledge of ADP.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with multiple levels of management.??
Ability to effectively manage personnel at all levels within the organization.
