Robert Half Finance and Accounting has a bookkeeper role available on a full-time basis. Self-driven and organized accounting professionals are needed for an exciting Bookkeeper opportunity. The ideal candidate must be self-driven, organized, and comfortable working under tight deadlines with minimal supervision. You will direct the month-end closing, reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable as the Bookkeeper. Likewise, the Bookkeeper is responsible for a full cycle A/P, data entry, cash applications, coding, light journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation. What you get to do every single day

- Assemble subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

- Govern monthly accounting close

- Sustain a general ledger

- Experience with Accounts Receivable

- Assemble sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

- File cash flow projections, as needed

- Administrate Accounts Payable

- Develop monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

- Credit Card management and reconciliation

- Sustain monthly accounting close

- Other assignments as requested
Requirements
- Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities

- Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems

- Top notch analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills

- Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

- Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity

- Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines

- 1+ years of related experience- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Distinguished analytical, quantitative and social skills

- Office Administration experience required

- QuickBooks experience

- Administrative Office experience desired

- Well-founded grasp of account reconciliation

- Proven knowledge of Posting Payments

- Strong familiarity with ordering office supplies and equipment

- Receptionist Duties experience preferred

- Notable accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
