Our client in Addison is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a contact to full time hire opportunity. As the Senior Financial Analyst you will be responsible for analyzing the financial status by collection, monitoring, and studying data; recommending actions.
Job Duties:
• Determines cost of operations by establishing standard reporting of costs; collecting operational data.
• Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
• Guides cost analysis process by establishing and recommending practices and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; encouraging actions.
• Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to regional leadership.
• Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.
• Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
• Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials.
• Increases productivity by developing automated accounting applications; coordinating information requirements.

Requirements
The successful Senior Financial Analyst will have 5+ years experience with a Bachelor’s degree. You will have experience with corporate finance, Process Improvement, Cost Accounting, Statistical Analysis, Financial Planning and Strategy, Reporting Research Results. You must have advanced Excel and experience in Great Plains is a plus!
