This role offers a central position in maturing the firm's risk culture, with a primary focus on embedding and enhancing the Operational Risk Management Framework.</p><p> </p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">The Role</span></strong></p><ul><li>Support the maintenance, enhancement, and implementation of the firm-wide operational risk management framework, including its policies, procedures, and toolkit for risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation.</li><li>Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and control reviews to identify emerging operational risks and contribute to the development of pragmatic mitigation strategies.</li><li>Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and ensure the timely identification and escalation of material risk issues to senior governance committees.</li><li>Play a key role in preparing and presenting regular risk reports for senior management and board-level risk committees.</li><li>Collaborate with business units and support functions to integrate robust operational risk practices into daily processes and strategic decision-making.</li><li>Support the rollout of strategic risk management projects and initiatives.</li><li>Assist in developing and delivering training to foster a strong risk-aware culture across the organization.</li><li>Keep abreast of evolving regulatory expectations and industry best practices in risk management.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Your Profile</span></strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree or higher in Risk Management, Finance, Accountancy, Business, or a related discipline.</li><li>Professional qualifications (e.g., FRM, CFA, HKICPA, ACCA) are highly regarded.</li><li>Approximately 5-6 years of relevant experience in operational risk management, gained within a <strong>large financial services organization (e.g., banking, insurance, asset management) or a top-tier consultancy</strong>.</li><li>Solid understanding of operational risk management frameworks (e.g., based on COSO, ISO 31000) and standard risk tools (RCSA, KI/KRIs, loss data collection).</li><li>Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence outcomes.</li><li>A practical, problem-solving mindset with the ability to translate theory into actionable plans.</li><li>Familiarity with the financial services regulatory landscape in Hong Kong/Asia.</li><li>High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.</li><li>Strong business writing and presentation skills in English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is beneficial.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Apply Today </span></strong></p><p>To apply online (Word attachment only), please click the 'Apply' button.
