The successful candidate will take ownership of financial reporting, management accounting, and compliance for multiple projects, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial information to stakeholders.</p><p>Our client is a market leader in infrastructure investment and asset management, operating across the UK. With a strong reputation for delivering sustainable and long-term value, the business works closely with local authorities, investors, and stakeholders to ensure compliance, efficiency, and growth.</p><p>This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic finance team within a business that plays a critical role in managing essential infrastructure assets.</p><br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br><ul><li>Prepare management account reports, including analysis of actual vs budget.</li><li>Incorporate purchase ledgers, sales ledgers, cash books, and loan schedules into ETBs and reconcile ETBs to SUN Systems.</li><li>Maintain accruals, prepayments, and amortisation workings.</li><li>Supervise preparation and submission of VAT and CIS returns.</li><li>Oversee purchase invoice processing, non-supplier payments, and issuing invoices to customers.</li><li>Supervise maintenance of cash books and loan schedules.</li><li>Prepare statutory accounts for year-end audit.</li><li>Produce supporting documentation and working papers for audit.</li><li>Liaise with audit teams during fieldwork and with audit managers post-review.</li><li>Work with tax advisers on corporation tax computations.</li><li>Present finance reports to shareholders at quarterly project board meetings.</li><li>Track and comply with project deliverables as dictated by loan facility agreements.</li><li>Maintain financial and operating models; prepare budgets and cash flow forecasts.</li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong></p><ul><li>ICAS/ACCA/CIMA qualified.</li><li>Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships internally and externally.</li><li>Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to challenge and develop explanations.</li><li>Proactive in identifying and implementing process improvements.</li><li>Experience in infrastructure, asset management, or project finance is advantageous.</li></ul><br><br>Why Join Them?<br><br><ul><li>Work with a leading player in infrastructure and asset management.</li><li>Exposure to complex projects and stakeholder engagement.</li><li>Competitive salary between £50,000 - £60,000 per annum. </li><li>Opportunity to influence financial strategy and compliance.</li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
