This contract role is focused on managing a complex carve-out and migration project for a leading technology organisation. The project involves transitioning systems to enable a venture to operate independently, requiring strong technical and project management expertise.</p><h3><strong>Project Context</strong></h3><ul><li><strong>Objective:</strong> Complete a separation and migration of platforms and services for a newly independent entity.</li><li><strong>Scope:</strong> Includes Google Workspace and Slack migrations, integration with third-party vendors, and coordination across multiple technical teams.</li><li><strong>Complexity:</strong> Multi-platform migration, vendor accountability, and stakeholder engagement at all levels.</li></ul><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li><strong>Migration Strategy & Execution:</strong> Develop and implement a detailed migration plan, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.</li><li><strong>Vendor Management:</strong> Coordinate and hold third-party vendors accountable for deliverables.</li><li><strong>Stakeholder Engagement:</strong> Communicate effectively with technical teams and senior stakeholders.</li><li><strong>Technical Oversight:</strong> Lead migrations with a focus on Google Workspace (Drive, Gmail, etc.) and Slack.</li></ul><h3><strong>Essential Skills</strong></h3><ul><li><strong>Google-to-Google Migration Expertise:</strong> Proven track record in similar projects.</li><li><strong>Hands-on Google Workspace & Slack Migration Experience:</strong> Deep technical understanding of these platforms.</li><li><strong>Cloud Knowledge:</strong> Familiarity with AWS and GCP environments.</li><li><strong>Stakeholder & Vendor Management:</strong> Strong communication and coordination skills.</li></ul><h3><strong>Desirable Skills</strong></h3><ul><li><strong>HRIS Platforms:</strong> Experience with HR systems such as HiBob (preffered).</li><li><strong>Atlassian Tools:</strong> Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, etc.</li></ul><h3><strong>Ideal Candidate Profile</strong></h3><ul><li>Experienced IT Project Manager with a technical background.</li><li>Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.</li><li>Cloud platform familiarity (AWS/GCP).</li><li>Vendor and stakeholder management experience in complex carve-out projects.</li><li>Legal Entity rationilisation experience or similar will be highly desirable.</li></ul><br><p> </p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
