<p><strong>Interim Finance Director</strong></p><p><strong>Yorkshire | Hybrid | Immediate Start</strong></p><p> </p><p>Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting for an Interim Finance Director to support a high‑growth Yorkshire-based business going through a significant period of change.</p><p>This is a critical interim appointment, requiring a hands-on, commercially focused finance leader who can operate at pace and add value quickly in a complex environment.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>The role</strong></p><p>Reporting into the senior leadership team, key responsibilities will include:</p><p> </p><ul><li>Providing strategic and operational financial leadership during a period of growth and transformation</li><li>Leading and developing the finance function, acting as a visible and credible people manager</li><li>Producing high-quality investor and stakeholder reporting</li><li>Ownership of cash flow management and cash flow modelling</li><li>Supporting the business through change initiatives, ensuring robust financial control and governance</li><li>Acting as a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders</li></ul><p> </p><p>The role is Yorkshire based, with a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>The ideal candidate</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>You will be a professional interim with a proven track record of delivering successful Finance Director assignments, and will be able to demonstrate:</p><p> </p><ul><li>Extensive experience operating as an Interim FD or senior interim finance leader</li><li>Strong capability in investor reporting and cash flow forecasting/modelling</li><li>A hands-on, delivery-focused approach with the ability to influence at senior level</li><li>Strong people management skills, with experience leading teams through change</li><li>Immediate availability</li><li>Background in construction, utilities or infrastructure or related industry is highly desirable</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Day rate & contract details</strong></p><ul><li>£600 - £700 per day PAYE</li><li>Immediate start</li><li>Initial 6 month contract with potential to extend</li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
