<p>Robert Half are working with a highly regarded organisation in Swindon to recruit a Financial Accountant role on a full-time permanent basis. This is a challenging role that will be involved with producing statutory financial statements, financial reporting, business partnering and improving processes. The Financial Accountant role is an exceptional opportunity for someone that is qualified or part qualified in ACCA/ACA/CIMA that is looking for a new challenge or someone that is working within an accountancy practice that is looking for their first move into industry, and be a part of a business that is known for offering long-term and successful careers. The salary is between £50,000 - £58,000 plus bonus, hybrid working and other excellent benefits. </p><p> </p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p> </p><p>The main duties of the Financial Accountant role will consist of the following: </p><p> </p><ul><li>Preparing statutory financial statements for an assigned business entity. </li><li>Financial reporting; ensuring compliance with IFRS and UK GAAP, providing audit support and documentation.</li><li>Preparing boards packs with commentary and analysis. </li><li>Balance sheet reconciliations and control.</li><li>Preparing submissions for the assigned business entity. </li><li>Liaising with auditors; providing supporting information and dealing with queries.</li><li>Business partnering with stakeholders; supporting with projects, querying anomalies. </li><li>Implementing and refining processes on an adhoc basis. </li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p> </p><p>To be considered for the Financial Accountant role, you must ideally possess the following skills/experience: </p><p> </p><ul><li>Must have financial accounting experience; in particular preparing/producing financial statements and submissions. </li><li>Experience within an accountancy practice (audit or financial accounting) will also be considered</li><li>Ideally ACCA/ACA/CIMA part qualified or qualified </li><li>Knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP</li><li>Excellent attention to detail</li><li>Strong communication skills</li><li>Hard work ethic</li><li>Confident user of Excel</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Salary & Benefits</strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>£50,000 - £58,000 annual salary </li><li>Annual bonus </li><li>Hybrid working; 4 days on site, 1 day from home </li><li>Competitive pension scheme </li><li>28 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)</li><li>Private health care</li><li>On site parking</li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
