Robert Half Technology are assisting a global market leading Network Security Consultancy to recruit Data Privacy Analyst on an initial 12 month contract - Remote working - UK based The Enterprise Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team is seeking a Data Privacy Analyst to lead the technical implementation of our global privacy strategy. We are looking for a highly motivated, intellectually curious professional who is passionate about building "Privacy by Design" into the customer experience journey.In this role, you will drive organisational excellence by designing and implementing technological safeguards that protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with global regulations, including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and emerging data sovereignty laws. You will act as a bridge between Legal/Privacy requirements and technical execution, ensuring that our data processing environments are strictly partitioned and resilient.Role<ul><li>Framework Development: Lead the creation and rollout of a comprehensive Data Ring-Fencing control framework.Enclave Security: Define and enforce logical and physical separation protocols for high-sensitivity data environments (PII, PCI, and Intellectual Property).</li><li>Secure Data Clean Rooms: Establish protocols for "Data Clean Rooms" and secure sharing pathways to allow for data analysis without compromising privacy or increasing exposure risk.</li><li>Environment Segmentation: Oversee the integration of micro-segmentation, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and granular access controls.</li><li>Privacy Engineering: Collaborate with DevOps and Engineering teams to embed automated privacy controls directly into system architecture and CI/CD data pipelines.</li><li>De-identification: Implement and manage technical safeguards such as salting, hashing, tokenisation, and differential privacy.</li><li>Governance Board: Establish and chair a dedicated Ring-Fencing Governance Board to monitor control adherence and adjudicate exception requests.</li><li>Audit Readiness: Create "Enforcement Blueprints," audit templates, and evidence logs to support internal reviews and external certifications (SOC2, ISO 27001, etc.).</li><li>Documentation: Maintain the "Control Rationale" registry, documenting how specific technical configurations map to global legal requirements.</li><li>Develop role-specific training for developers and data scientists to ensure a consistent understanding of "Safe Zone" protocols and data handling standards.</li></ul>Profile<ul><li>Privacy & Security: Demonstrated expertise in privacy-preserving technologies (e.g., IAPP CIPT/CIPM, CISSP, or CISM).</li><li>Regulatory Fluency: Deep understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and the technical implications of data residency/sovereignty.</li><li>Communication: Exceptional writing skills with the ability to translate complex "Privacy Engineering" concepts into clear guidance for Legal, Product, and Engineering stakeholders.</li><li>Experience with Cloud Service Providers (AWS/Azure/GCP) and their native identity/segmentation tools.</li><li>Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technologies.</li><li>Experience with data orchestration and pipeline tools (e.g., Snowflake, Airflow, or Databricks).</li></ul>Company<ul><li>Global market leading Network Security Consultancy</li><li>Full remote - UK based </li><li>12 month contract </li></ul>Salary & BenefitsThe salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
