<p>Robert Half Technology are assisting a global market leading financial services organisation to recruit a VMware Cloud Foundation Consultant on a 6 month contract basis. Hybrid working - London based </p><p>This role will focus on VCF enablement, architecture design, build, and adoption, ensuring the platform is production-ready and aligned with enterprise standards.</p><p data-start="189" data-end="209"><strong data-start="189" data-end="209">Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>The VMware Cloud Foundation Consultant will lead architecture design and implementation of VMware Cloud Foundation 9 (VCF9) platforms</li><li>Own VCF9 platform readiness, upgrade strategy, and adoption across enterprise environments</li><li>Design, deploy, and evolve core VCF9 components including compute, storage, networking, and lifecycle management</li><li>Define VCF9 reference architectures, standards, and best practices aligned to enterprise and regulatory requirements</li><li>Partner with engineering and operations teams to deliver stable, scalable VCF9 environments</li><li>Provide expert support for VCF9 lifecycle management, optimisation, and troubleshooting</li><li>Enable knowledge transfer and operational handover for VCF9 platforms</li></ul><p data-end="935" data-start="921"><strong data-start="921" data-end="935">Experience</strong></p><ul><li>The VMware Cloud Foundation Consultant will have deep, hands-on expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation 9 architecture and lifecycle</li><li>Proven track record delivering VCF9 upgrades, migrations, or greenfield builds at enterprise scale</li><li>Strong understanding of the VCF9 full stack (vSphere, NSX, vSAN, SDDC Manager, lifecycle services)</li><li>Experience supporting cloud modernisation using VCF9 in financial services or other highly regulated environments</li><li>Comfortable operating independently in a part-time, advisory or design authority role</li><li>Prior involvement in major VCF version transitions with emphasis on VCF9 capabilities and changes</li></ul><p><strong>Company</strong></p><ul><li>Market leading financial services organisation with offices in London</li><li>Remote working - UK based </li></ul><p><strong>Salary & Benefits</strong></p><p>The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.</p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
