Financial Controller - Permanent roleWest London, Office-based (5 days)£80,000 - £90,000 (No bonus) Robert Half is partnering with a high-growth, international software business operating in highly regulated, complex markets to recruit a Financial Controller for their London-based finance team.This is a hands-on controllership role within a multi-entity, multinational environment, offering exposure to a fast-scaling organisation with ongoing acquisition activity and meaningful change across EMEA. The roleYou will take ownership of end-to-end financial reporting and control across several legal entities. The role blends technical accounting, operational finance, audit management and commercial partnering, with scope to help shape and strengthen a growing finance function.Key responsibilities include:<ul><li>Leading month-end, half-year and year-end close processes across multiple entities</li><li>Producing statutory accounts and ensuring compliance with IFRS and local regulations</li><li>Maintaining robust financial controls, governance and balance sheet integrity</li><li>Acting as the primary point of contact for external audit</li><li>Managing multi-entity, multi-currency reporting, intercompany and FX processes</li><li>Partnering with stakeholders on budgeting, forecasting, cashflow and financial insight</li><li>Driving process improvement, standardisation and automation initiatives</li><li>Managing and developing a small team, with scope to grow headcount over time</li></ul> About you<ul><li>ACA qualified (must be practice/audit trained) with minimum 2-3 years' post-qualification experience in industry</li><li>Strong technical accounting background with excellent financial control and reporting capability</li><li>Experience working in a large, complex, multi-entity and multinational environment (listed exposure beneficial)</li><li>Commercially astute, comfortable working with senior stakeholders outside of finance</li><li>Evidence of process improvement, project work or automation mindset</li><li>Prior people management experience beneficial but not essential</li></ul> Package & benefits<ul><li>Salary £80,000 - £90,000 (depending on experience)</li><li>9% employer pension contribution</li><li>25 days' annual leave</li><li>Office-based perks including regular events and wellbeing initiatives</li></ul>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
