<p></p><h3><strong>Financial Accountant - 15 Month Fixed-Term Contract</strong></h3><p><strong>Location:</strong> Warwick (Hybrid - 3 days in office)<br /> <strong>Salary:</strong> Competitive</p><p>A well-established, global organisation is looking for a Financial Accountant to join its Financial Control &amp; Accounting team on a 15-month fixed-term basis.</p><p>Working closely with the Chief Accountant, this role will focus on period-end reporting, balance sheet integrity, and maintaining a strong financial control environment.</p><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li>Deliver accurate and timely month-end and period-end reporting</li><li>Reconcile key balance sheet accounts with supporting documentation</li><li>Investigate and resolve discrepancies, ensuring issues are fully closed out</li><li>Provide variance analysis against plan and forecast, identifying key drivers</li><li>Support continuous improvement across reporting, controls, and reconciliation processes</li><li>Partner with commercial and operational teams to support financial performance</li></ul><h3><strong>About You</strong></h3><ul><li>Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)</li><li>Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)</li><li>Proven experience in reconciliations and financial reporting</li><li>Working knowledge of VAT and corporate tax</li><li>Experience using ERP systems (SAP desirable)</li><li>Methodical, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving</li></ul><h3><strong>Team &amp; Environment</strong></h3><ul><li>Part of a well-established finance team</li><li>Collaborative and supportive culture</li><li>Exposure to both financial control and commercial partnering</li></ul><br><p> </p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
