<p data-start="297" data-end="645">We are seeking a detail-oriented Revenue Recognition professional to support accurate and compliant revenue accounting in line with applicable accounting standards (IFRS 15 / UK GAAP). The role will work closely with Finance, Sales, Commercial, and Billing teams to ensure revenue is recognised correctly, on time, and supported by robust controls.</p><p data-start="647" data-end="785">This position is based in Solihull with a hybrid working arrangement, offering a mix of office-based collaboration and remote flexibility.</p><h3 data-start="787" data-end="813">Key Responsibilities</h3><ul data-start="814" data-end="1632"><li data-end="919" data-start="814"><p data-start="816" data-end="919">Review customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment in line with IFRS 15</p></li><li data-end="999" data-start="920"><p data-start="922" data-end="999">Prepare and post revenue-related journal entries, accruals, and adjustments</p></li><li data-start="1000" data-end="1080"><p data-end="1080" data-start="1002">Ensure revenue is recognised accurately and in the correct accounting period</p></li><li data-end="1151" data-start="1081"><p data-end="1151" data-start="1083">Support month-end and year-end close processes relating to revenue</p></li><li data-start="1152" data-end="1208"><p data-start="1154" data-end="1208">Reconcile revenue accounts and investigate variances</p></li><li data-start="1209" data-end="1280"><p data-end="1280" data-start="1211">Maintain revenue recognition schedules and supporting documentation</p></li><li data-end="1364" data-start="1281"><p data-start="1283" data-end="1364">Partner with Commercial, Sales, and Operations teams to resolve revenue queries</p></li><li data-start="1365" data-end="1461"><p data-start="1367" data-end="1461">Support internal and external audits by providing revenue-related analysis and documentation</p></li><li data-end="1553" data-start="1462"><p data-start="1464" data-end="1553">Assist with process improvements, controls, and system enhancements relating to revenue</p></li><li data-start="1554" data-end="1632"><p data-end="1632" data-start="1556">Ensure compliance with internal policies and external accounting standards</p></li></ul><h3 data-end="1659" data-start="1634">Skills &amp; Experience</h3><ul data-start="1660" data-end="2109"><li data-start="1660" data-end="1746"><p data-end="1746" data-start="1662">Experience in a revenue recognition, financial accounting, or similar finance role</p></li><li data-end="1814" data-start="1747"><p data-start="1749" data-end="1814">Good understanding of IFRS 15 and/or UK GAAP revenue principles</p></li><li data-end="1867" data-start="1815"><p data-end="1867" data-start="1817">Strong attention to detail and analytical skills</p></li><li data-start="1868" data-end="1923"><p data-end="1923" data-start="1870">Ability to interpret contracts and commercial terms</p></li><li data-start="1924" data-end="1978"><p data-start="1926" data-end="1978">Comfortable working with finance systems and Excel</p></li><li data-end="2049" data-start="1979"><p data-start="1981" data-end="2049">Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally</p></li><li data-start="2050" data-end="2109"><p data-end="2109" data-start="2052">Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment</p></li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
