<p>Part-Time Finance Manager (30 Hours Per Week)</p><p>Leeds | £40,000 - £50,000 FTE (Dependent on Experience)</p><p> </p><p>Robert Half Finance &amp; Accounting are recruiting for a Part-Time Finance Manager to join a successful and growing SME based in Leeds.</p><p>Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a hands-on role that will take responsibility for the day-to-day finance function. This position would suit an experienced finance professional who enjoys operating in a varied role and being actively involved in all aspects of the accounts process.</p><p> </p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>Key responsibilities of the Finance Manager will include:</p><ul><li>Managing the purchase ledger and accounts payable process</li><li>Overseeing sales ledger and accounts receivable</li><li>Bank reconciliations</li><li>Preparing and submitting VAT returns</li><li>Cash flow forecasting and reporting</li><li>Payroll preparation and liaison with external payroll providers</li><li>Maintaining accurate financial records</li><li>Producing management information for the Managing Director</li><li>Assisting with month-end processes and year-end preparation</li><li>Supporting the wider business with finance-related queries</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>The Ideal Candidate</strong></p><p>The successful candidate will:</p><ul><li>Be comfortable managing a broad finance remit with minimal supervision</li><li>Have strong bookkeeping and accounting knowledge</li><li>Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail</li><li>Possess strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with senior stakeholders</li><li>Be proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Excel</li><li>Be either Qualified by Experience (QBE), AAT qualified, or part/fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Salary &amp; Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Flexible part-time hours (30 hours per week)</li><li>£40,000 - £50,000 salary (FTE)</li><li>Varied and autonomous role </li><li>Friendly and supportive SME environment</li><li>Free parking and additional company benefits</li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
