<p>Robert Half Finance &amp; Accounting are recruiting for an FP&amp;A Analyst to join a high growth, private equity-backed business in Hull.</p><p>With ambitious plans to scale, strengthen operational performance and enhance reporting capabilities, the business is seeking a commercially minded FP&amp;A Analyst to play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making and driving performance across the organisation.</p><p>Reporting directly to the CFO, this opportunity offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the chance to influence the future direction of a growing, investor-backed business.</p><h3>The Role</h3><p>The FP&amp;A Analyst will support the CFO and wider leadership team by providing high-quality reporting, analysis and commercial insight to support business growth and performance.</p><p>Key responsibilities will include:</p><ul><li>Producing weekly and monthly management information and performance reporting.</li><li>Developing and maintaining dashboards, KPIs and reporting tools to improve business visibility.</li><li>Supporting the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting cycles.</li><li>Delivering detailed variance analysis with meaningful commentary and recommendations.</li><li>Analysing financial and operational data to identify key trends, risks and opportunities.</li><li>Supporting scenario planning and financial modelling exercises.</li><li>Working closely with operational stakeholders to improve reporting and performance management.</li></ul><h3>The Ideal Candidate</h3><p>You will be a highly analytical finance professional with strong communication skills and the ability to convert complex data into meaningful business insight.</p><p>Requirements include:</p><ul><li>ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified or close to qualification status </li><li>Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling experience.</li><li>Advanced Excel skills.</li><li>Experience developing dashboards and management reporting tools.</li><li>Strong commercial acumen and analytical capabilities.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.</li><li>Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced growth environment.</li></ul><h3>Salary &amp; Benefits</h3><ul><li>Salary up to £50,000</li><li>Hybrid working</li><li>Pension scheme</li><li>Healthcare benefits</li><li>Ongoing professional development</li><li>Significant exposure to the CFO and senior leadership team</li><li>Opportunity to join a growing private equity-backed business during a period of transformation and expansion</li></ul><p>This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious analyst to join a business at a pivotal point in its growth journey and make a genuine impact on commercial decision-making and future performance.</p><br><p> </p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
