There is succession plan to grow to a Financial Controllers role in the future. Reporting into the Finance Director you will be instrumental in driving improved reporting an developing the business partnering capability of the organisation. <ul><li>Support the preparation of monthly management information, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.</li><li>Lead the annual budgeting process across all departments and practice groups.</li><li>Provide financial insights and reporting to partners and departmental heads to support performance improvement.</li><li>Support strategic financial initiatives, including profitability reviews, evaluation of business cases for new initiatives and process change management.</li><li>Lead the day-to-day cash flow management of the business, including the preparation of 12-month rolling forecasts.</li><li>Oversee VAT, PAYE and other tax compliance matters.</li><li>Take ownership of the WIP valuation processes.</li><li>Assist in identifying financial risks and implementing controls to mitigate them; support internal and external audit processes.</li></ul> Key Skills & Experience<ul><li>Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a strong technical background.</li><li>Proven experience in a similar finance role, with experience in the legal or professional services sector desirable.</li></ul>On offer:A salary of from £50,000 to £60,000 plus benefits.
