<h2><strong>AAT Accounts Assistant </strong></h2><p>We are currently supporting a well-established business based in Bridgend who are looking to recruit an AAT Accounts Assistant to join their friendly and supportive finance team on a permanent basis.</p><p>This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT-qualified or AAT-studying finance professional looking to develop their career within a busy and varied accounts environment.</p><p><strong>Location: Bridgend<br />Salary: £26,000-£28,000<br />Working pattern: hybrid working <br />Parking: Free on-site parking</strong></p><h3><strong>The Role</strong></h3><p>Working as part of the finance team, you will provide support across a range of accounting duties, helping to ensure the smooth and accurate running of the day-to-day finance function.</p><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li style="font-weight: 400;">Processing purchase and sales invoices</li><li style="font-weight: 400;">Managing the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions</li><li style="font-weight: 400;">Reconciling supplier and customer accounts</li><li style="font-weight: 400;">Processing employee expenses</li><li style="font-weight: 400;">Assisting with supplier payment runs</li><li style="font-weight: 400;">Maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers</li><li style="font-weight: 400;">Supporting bank and balance sheet reconciliations</li><li style="font-weight: 400;">Assisting with month-end procedures</li><li style="font-weight: 400;">Responding to supplier and customer queries</li><li style="font-weight: 400;">Providing general support to the wider finance team</li><li style="font-weight: 400;">Ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner</li></ul><h3><strong>About You</strong></h3><p>We're looking for someone who has:</p><ul><li style="font-weight: 400;">AAT qualification or is currently studying towards AAT</li><li style="font-weight: 400;">Previous experience within an accounts or finance role</li><li style="font-weight: 400;">Good knowledge of purchase and sales ledger processes</li><li style="font-weight: 400;">Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills</li><li style="font-weight: 400;">The ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively</li><li style="font-weight: 400;">Good Excel and general IT skills</li><li style="font-weight: 400;">Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively</li><li style="font-weight: 400;">A proactive approach and willingness to learn and develop</li></ul><p>This is a fantastic opportunity for an AAT Accounts Assistant to join a growing business in Bridgend, offering a varied role, supportive working environment and excellent opportunities for career development.</p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
