Description :Large employer in Oxford, MS is currently seeking a RIsk Manager
Responsibilities to Include:
Perform on going monitoring and analyzing of varying merchant activities in an effort to identify activity that may be fraudulent, violate the terms of the merchant agreement, or indicate pending credit risk.
React to suspect activity immediately by modifying merchant relationships, closing confirmed merchants, freezing funds transfers, etc.
Make decisions regarding merchant payments and reserve requirements
Identify and review merchant accounts in accordance with established merchant underwriting and risk guidelines and polices.
Perform thorough merchant investigations and be able to implement appropriate controls to mitigate risk.
Identify and investigate high risk transactions with Card Issuing Banks, consumers, merchants, and all relevant parties
Must be able to complete and manage a weekly assignment of merchant investigations including meeting aggressive deadlines.
Collaborate with other departments in the organization in an effort to resolve outstanding issues.
Adhere to established bank policies, company guidelines and all regulatory requirements.
Provide excellent customer service within established service level agreements.
Examine and interpret various reporting.
Provide analysis and reporting to determine severity, trends, and scalability.
Communicate decisions and requests for additional information to Merchants and partners as applicable as well as account restrictions, reserves, and cancellations
Consult with merchants, agents, law enforcement, and other related entities when required
Performs other related duties assigned
Risk Managers for this role should have a BS degree with 2+ years in high level risk analysis or risk management within merchant processing or banking. Must have advanced Excel. For consideration please email your resume to [email protected]
