Maggie Hazelrig is a Managing Director specializing in executive and senior-level searches. Her clients have included well funded start-ups, large and small private equity groups, global and regional law firms, small to medium-sized privately held companies, assorted Fortune 500 entities, large and small non-for-profits as well as consulting firms.
Her areas of expertise include executive-level Operations, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, Technology, Marketing and Financial leadership searches in various industry settings, including technology, healthcare, private equity, legal services, professional services, marketing, advertising and non-profits. She has also conducted Board of Directors searches within a variety of industries.
Maggie is best known by her clients for her collaborative and effective search approach. She has been a trusted partner and advisor to her clients by understanding both the interpersonal and business needs and helping them identify, acquire and retain top talent.
Based in the firm’s San Francisco Office, Maggie conducts searches both throughout the United States and internationally.
Maggie has over a decade of business and consulting experience. Prior to joining Robert Half Executive Search, Maggie was the Managing Partner of a boutique search firm that focused on executive level, legal search. She was also a Director of Recruiting at a management consulting boutique.
In addition, Maggie was a senior member of the RHI Search and Placement Division in the San Francisco Bay area, where she helped clients recruit for C-level Legal and regulatory talent as well as other senior level, executive leadership type roles within their respective spaces. During her time at RHI, she has been recognized on numerous occasions as a high caliber performer and has consistently been ranked in the top 1% of her peers around the globe.
Personal and Professional Activities
Throughout her career, Maggie has been involved with numerous organizations and philanthropies.
She is actively involved in the San Francisco Symphony, sitting on the Advisory Board of its largest league and on the Corporate Sponsorship Committee for the Board of Trustees. Maggie Co-Chaired Opening Night of the Symphony in 2010 and 2012. Maggie sat on the Board of Dress for Success’ San Francisco Board for four years and co-chaired the organization’s largest annual fundraiser three years in a row. She is a member of numerous professional organizations, including Provisors and the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), where she sits on the Board of the San Francisco Chapter. She continues to stay active with her high school alma mater, Castilleja School, where she sits on the Alumnae Association’s Executive Committee.
Maggie graduated from the University of Southern California where she earned her Bachelors in Political Science, with double minors in Business and French. Maggie was born and raised in Menlo Park, California, and resides in San Francisco. She spends most of her free time golfing or skiing.
