Thomas Frohne is a senior vice president with Robert Half's legal consulting solutions practice. In this role, he works closely with Fortune 500 companies, Am Law 200 law firms and privately held businesses to help them streamline operations, improve efficiencies and collaboration, mitigate risk, and significantly reduce costs associated with litigation, compliance, regulatory, and commercial matters. With 20-plus years of legal technology and litigation experience, Mr. Frohne provides a unique industry perspective. He can provide consulting expertise regarding process and cost-containment strategies surrounding mergers and acquisitions, class action litigation, eDiscovery, bankruptcy, government investigations, contracts lifecycle management, and records and information governance. He also speaks regularly on these topics within the legal community.

Before joining Robert Half, Mr. Frohne was the litigation support manager and client technology services director at a Minneapolis Am Law 100 law firm, managing firmwide complex discovery issues and technology requirements; assisting with early case assessment, depositions and trial strategies; and creating project solutions for corporate clients.

Representative Engagements

  • Managed a massive MDL (multi-district litigation) around alleged deceptive practices in the auto lending industry, which involved 15 different law firms and corporate clients within a joint defense team relying upon Robert Half to provide a centralized managed review with 250-plus attorneys reviewing over 2.5 million documents
  • Led a large-scale regulatory review for an international law firm and their Fortune 500 client; project involved review, categorization, and analysis of 1.6 million documents during an eight-month period
  • Led dozens of engagements surrounding CLM implementation efforts, including the centralization of electronic records, digitization of paper files, and data point extraction through a fully managed solution
  • Led multi-year effort to support a national insurance carrier with augmentation and consulting needs within the client’s compliance, regulatory, and legal departments
  • As Litigation Support Manager, managed sourcing and procurement for third-party litigation services, including RFP drafting, vendor selection, pricing negotiation, contract management, and eDiscovery matter management
  • Worked with discovery team to interview clients and potential witnesses, collect relevant materials, and create a streamlined plan for the processing, review, production and categorization of key documents
