Dan Goonin

Dan Goonin is a Robert Half Executive Search principal specializing in the identification and vetting of executives and senior leaders in a variety of roles and industries, including C-suite/executive leadership, tax, accounting, finance, human resources, supply chain and marketing. Based in the firm’s St. Petersburg, Fla., office, Dan partners with various Robert Half Executive Search Managing Directors and delivery teams in conducting searches throughout the United States and internationally.

Experience

Dan began his career with Robert Half in 2013 as a Staffing Manager with Accountemps. He progressed to a Division Director at Robert Half Finance & Accounting and is currently a principal with Robert Half Executive Search. During his career, Dan has had the opportunity to place executives and senior leaders in a variety of industries, including public accounting, financial services, manufacturing, construction, real estate, nonprofit and healthcare.

Having lived and worked in multiple regions of the country, Dan has developed a strong network of contacts in multiple industries and functional responsibilities across the country. He is objective, creative and persistent in helping clients identify and hire the best candidates in the market.

Personal and Professional Activities

Dan is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. He is an avid soccer player and had the opportunity to be a 4-year starter for a top Division 1 soccer program while in college. In his free time, Dan enjoys coaching and mentoring youth soccer players and spending time with family and friends.
