Description :

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented candidate for a contract to full-time Event Coordinator opening in the Mercer County area.

As the Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination of event logistics for tradeshows, meetings, conferences, and corporate events.

The Event Coordinator will report into the Marketing Director and be tasked with the following:

Researching venues for upcoming events and negotiating contracts
Registering company for tradeshows
Sending invitations and email invites and managing RSVPs
Working with marketing to create promotional materials such as invitations, advertisements, website graphics, and email campaigns
Compiling and managing event inventory
Coordinating and monitoring event timelines and ensuring all deadlines are met
Managing budgets and updating spreadsheets to ensure that budgets are adhered to
Managing tradeshow and event calendar
Conducting post event analysis
Communicating with vendors, sites and suppliers to create, and maintain and enact a tradeshow schedule
Packing and shipping event/booth materials as needed
Processing invoices and purchase orders for the department as needed

Requirements :

Bachelors Degree in Communications, Marketing, Event Planning, or a related field
2+ years of experience with coordination of tradeshows, meetings, and corporate events
Excellent planning and organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines in a quick-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate with external vendors
Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
