Get the facts about the ACA in our new FAQ Guide
If you're a business owner, the Affordable Care Act (ACA) is likely on your radar. And if it's not, it should be! In short, the ACA overhauls the regulation and financing of health insurance in the United States. Its goal is to improve the availability, quality and affordability of health insurance coverage, but chances are, it will impact your business and possibly your hiring strategy.
Although the penalties for ACA noncompliance will not apply until 2015, smart companies are using the extra time to get a head start on their compliance efforts. (It should be noted that all other elements of the ACA remain in effect with their original deadlines.)
To help you better understand what the new ACA legislation means for you and your business, Robert Half (TCG's parent company) partnered with attorney and ACA expert Alden J. Bianchi to produce a new guide, What Every Business Needs to Know About the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. In the guide, Bianchi presents answers to more than 90 frequently asked questions about the Act.
To learn more about the ACA, you can also listen to a webinar recording of Bianchi discussing the latest ACA developments.
And don’t miss our Small & Midsize Business Resource Center for the most up-to-date tips on how to recruit, retain and motivate your next hire, along with other great resources to support the growth of your company.
