The Creative Team of the Future: About the Research

For this year's Creative Team of the Future project, we surveyed nearly 600 AIGA members in the United States to discover the greatest career and on-the-job challenges they foresee in the coming years.

Seventy-six percent of respondents identified themselves as working in an in-house creative or marketing department, 9 percent identified themselves as working in an agency or studio, and 16 percent identified themselves as "other" (freelancer, student, unemployed, etc.). The survey was conducted in February 2013.

We also collaborated with Graphic Design USA and AIGA to gather insights from thought leaders with extensive corporate and agency experience. For additional information about the project, visit
