TCG at Head, Heart, Hand: AIGA Design Conference

In just a few days, we'll be making our way to Minneapolis for "Head, Heart, Hand: AIGA Design Conference," a biennial design conference exploring design strategy, social impact and design as craft.

It will be The Creative Group's second year participating; at the last event in 2011, we debuted our INitiative program and interviewed several speakers for our Creative Team of the Future project. This year's program includes an impressive lineup of speakers and plenty of sessions to quench any designer's thirst for inspiration and knowledge. We can't wait! Here's where you can find us:

In-house Affinity Sessions

Stephnee Leathers, senior director of Creative Services at Robert Half (TCG's parent company), will be introducing each speaker and moderating a panel:

  • Oct. 11, 11:30 a.m. – Collaborative Creativity at 3M with Kevin Gilboe, head of global design, consumer business group, 3M
  • Oct. 12, 11:30 a.m. – The Badge Hunt with Allan Peters, senior art director, Target
  • Oct. 12, 2:30 p.m. – Mission Control: In-house Design at a Nonprofit (panel) with Karl Kaiser, vice president, creative services and interactive communications, Boys & Girls Clubs of America; Scott Kirkwood, senior director of publications and editor, National Parks Conservation Association, National Parks Magazine; Robert Villaflor, design director, Human Rights Campaign
