<p>Our client, a growing and dynamic organization located in Downtown Vancouver, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a multi-entity environment, work with a strong leadership team, and enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement while contributing to the success of a growing organization.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice entry, coding, payment processing, and related journal entries, with a focus on freight and inventory-related transactions.</li><li>Process and reconcile intercompany transactions across multiple entities.</li><li>Prepare and complete bank, credit card, and intercompany reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies as needed.</li><li>Maintain positive relationships with vendors and respond to supplier inquiries in a timely and professional manner.</li><li>Review and process employee expense reports in accordance with company policies.</li><li>Assist with cash flow reporting and short-term cash forecasting activities.</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency within the Accounts Payable function.</li><li>Support month-end close activities and assist with special projects and ad hoc accounting duties as required.</li></ul><p><br></p>

<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 2 years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience, including bank reconciliations.</li><li>Experience processing Accounts Payable transactions using an ERP system; NetSuite experience is preferred.</li><li>Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.</li><li>Experience working in a multi-entity environment and processing intercompany transactions is considered an asset.</li><li>Inventory-related accounting experience is an asset.</li><li>Strong reconciliation skills, including supplier, bank, credit card, and intercompany reconciliations.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.</li></ul><p>If this sounds like the role for you, please apply today!
