Receptionist
We are looking for an organized and personable Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Breslau, Ontario. This role will primarily support the afternoon shift and involves a variety of administrative and HR-related tasks. As the first point of contact for visitors and employees, you will play a vital role in maintaining smooth operations and clear, attentive communication within the organization.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Welcome and screen all visitors while ensuring proper sign-in and issuance of security tags.<br>• Create and distribute employment confirmation letters and handle updates to HR boards and employee forms.<br>• Conduct daily attendance calls, update systems, and manage employee coding.<br>• Coordinate and track recognition programs, including thank-you notes and nominations.<br>• Order and organize office supplies to ensure availability.<br>• Sort incoming mail and deliver it to the appropriate recipients.<br>• Assist in planning and coordinating employee social events.<br>• Maintain access card systems and resolve any related issues.<br>• Schedule tours for job candidates and oversee pre-employment testing appointments.<br>• Develop and distribute weekly newsletters and maintain TV communication systems to keep materials current and relevant.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a receptionist or administrative role.<br>• Proficiency in answering multi-line phone systems and managing email correspondence.<br>• Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with visitors and employees.<br>• Competence in data entry and organizational tasks.<br>• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and other office software.<br>• Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.<br>• Ability to organize and maintain files efficiently.<br>• Experience supporting HR initiatives is an asset.
